To fit with our environmental and sustainability themes this year, we’re delighted to have the entertaining but educational “How Bad Are Bananas?” team joining us as a fringe.
This year there is a fringe event on the morning of the first day (9-12am, before the main conference starts), which is free to all registered attendees of Playful Learning.
Pre-Conference Fringe: Go Bananas! – Climate Change Workshop
Wednesday 10 July 2019, 9-12am (prior to lunch and the formal start of Playful Learning)
It’s difficult to get science-based climate change communications across to pretty much everyone in the world. But we think that gaming is a great place to start! The team from ‘How Bad are Bananas?’ (the Carbon Footprint Game) who gatecrashed last year’s Playful Learning conference are back again with a fringe event of their very own…
So if you want to get a healthy dose of inspiration from the HBAB? team AND design or playtest climate change games, then this fringe workshop is for you!
